Guwahati: Amid Zubeen Garg’s death mourning in city, Water Pipe Bursts in Chandmari area

Digital Desk: A major water pipe in Chandmari, Guwahati, unexpectedly burst during the city's mourning for the death of legendary singer Zubeen Garg, causing chaos.

Water is still gushing out at high pressure from the area where the incident was reported. The water level is said to have risen up to an estimated 70 to 80 feet as a result of the rupture, reaching the rooftops of nearby three- to four-story buildings.

Although authorities were supposed to cut off the water supply right away, the flow hasn't been stopped as of yet, causing waterloggingin the area.
