Guwahati hit-&-run case: Nandinee Kashyap sent to 14-day judicial custody

Digital Desk: In a major development in a hit-and-run incident involving Assamese actress Nandinee Kashyap, which claimed the life of a student, the accused, Nandinee Kashyap, has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.

This development comes after her 2-day police custody came to an end on Friday.

On Friday, Nandinee Kashyap appeared before the Chief Judicial Magistrate court.

The judge voiced significant displeasure with the police's involvement in the ongoing enquiry during the hearing.

The bench was particularly critical of the Guwahati traffic police.

The court expressed questions about the timing of the police report from the motor vehicle inspector and questioned its veracity.
