India's Got Latent Row: Youtuber Ashish Chanchlani probed, records statement with Guwahati police

 

Digital Desk: In a developing update on the ongoing India's Got Latent row, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani appeared before the Guwahati Crime Branch, where his statement was recorded, as part of the current scandal over 'India's Got Latent, stated officials.

Chanchlani, who was accompanied by his legal representative, cooperated with the investigation and was freed after providing a statement.

In this regard, Joint Commissioner Ankur Jain told the media, "The accused Chanchlani appeared, his statement was recorded, and he would be called again as needed in the inquiry. We also learned numerous important information."

Joint Commissioner Ankur Jain further cautioned that influencers who have not cooperated will face additional notices. "If they don't comply, strict action will be taken."

Earlier, the Gauhati High Court had granted Chanchlani temporary release and ordered him to appear before the investigating officer within ten days.

Several individuals named in the FIR, including Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and Jaspreet Singh, have received notifications, according to Joint Police Commissioner Ankur Jain.
