Landslide in Kishtwar: 22 families displaced
Digital Desk: 22 families from the Patharnaki area of Nagsini tehsil have been forced to relocate due to a landslide threat in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The district administration took prompt action, evacuating the families and providing them with tents and rations to ensure their safety.

The affected area is near the prestigious Kwar and Kerru power projects, where the landmass is reportedly sliding above the quarry of the Kiru Hydro Electric Project. About 3,000 to 4,000 square meters of land are impacted, according to Tehsildar Nagsini, Muhammad Rafi Naik.
