Meghalaya: Tragic car accident near Pynursla, 5 dead

Digital Desk: A tragic car accident in Rngain, near Pynur-sla in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, has claimed the lives of five members of the same family.

The incident occurred late on Sunday night along the Rngain Gorge Road.

The Rngain Gorge Road is currently undergoing construction to expand into a two-lane highway.

According to initial reports, the family was traveling through the area when their vehicle reportedly lost control and plunged into a deep gorge.

Visibility was severely hampered due to heavy fog, which is believed to have contributed to the accident.
