Digital Desk: Amid the intense search expedited by the state authorities in Meghalaya, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma spoke on the details of the agencies and authorities deployed in the detailed search for the missing Indore-based couple.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, speaking on the matter, stated that the law enforcement in Sohra at Cherrapunjee in East Khasi Hills District in the state have intensified their search to be able to make any headway into the case for the missing Indore couple.

In the latest response from the top brass in the Meghalaya State Government on the matter, Indore Parliamentarian Shankar Lalwani arrived in Meghalaya State Capital Shillong on Wednesday to meet with senior police officials, including Director General of Police Idashisha Nongrang, to take stock of the details of the matter.

According to reports, authorities are now concentrating on a criminal probe after ruling out the possibility of an accident.

On May 20, Sonam and Raja went to Meghalaya for their honeymoon.

On May 23, they were last seen in the Sohrarim area of Meghalaya. The next day, their abandoned scooter was found close to Osara Hills.

Police are pursuing a number of leads, and a breakthrough is anticipated shortly.
