Nandinee Kashyap’s Bail Plea rejected by High Court

Digital Desk: In a significant update to actress Nandinee Kashyap’s case, the High Court has rejected the bail plea of Kashyap and instructed her to file the application in the lower court instead.

According to sources, the police have already submitted the charge sheet in court.

Following the submission of the chargesheet, the High Court directed that any bail application should now be filed in the lower court.

Kashyap After being detained late the night before in North Guwahati, Kashyap was taken into custody early on July 30.

Samiul Haque, a second-year student at Nalbari Polytechnic and a temporary employee of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), was involved in a fatal hit-and-run case that led to the arrest. Samiul was seriously hurt in the accident, and even though he received treatment at Apollo Hospital and Gauhati Medical College, he passed away the following night.
