New names come to light in the ongoing investigation of mysterious demise of Zubeen Garg

Digital Desk: In a significant step in the ongoing probe into the sudden death of singer Zubeen Garg, fresh identities have come to light, giving a new dimension to the case.

According to sources, the SIT has identified three additional Assamese people tied to the case, in addition to the seven already under investigation.

This brings the total number of persons of interest to ten Assamese nationals who now reside in Singapore.

The Assam CID has summoned all 10 expatriate Assamese citizens to appear before investigators in Guwahati for investigation.

Meanwhile, statements made by Rupkamal Kalita have apparently cast new light on the situation, prompting the SIT to reconsider key elements of the case.
