Using the hashtag #JusticeForZubeenGarg, thousands of users bombarded the page with posts and comments, highlighting the ongoing investigation into the singer's death. The abrupt deactivation of the page seems to have been caused by the spike in activity.

Notably, the hashtag became popular on several social media platforms thanks to the active participation of netizens from all over the world, especially those from Assam and the overseas Assamese community.

An online debate regarding the widespread support for the ongoing investigation into Zubeen Garg's death has been triggered by the development.

The reasons for the page's deactivation have not been formally announced.
