Operation Sindoor: Senior members of JeM, LeT taken down in May 7 strike
Digital Desk: Details have emerged of the terrorists who were killed in the first phase of Operation Sindoor, launched by the Indian armed forces on May 7, targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and mainland Pakistan.
The first of the terrorists who was killed in the Indian strike was Mudassar Kha-dian Khas alias Mudassar alias Abu Jundal. Mudassar was affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba and in charge of Markaz Taiba in Muridke, Pakistan.
The second prominent terrorist who was killed in the May 7 Indian strikes was Hafiz Muhammed Jameel. Hafiz Jamil was affiliated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist outfit. He was the eldest brother-in-law of Maulana Masood Azhar and in charge of Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
Another terrorist—Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, alias Ustad Ji alias Mohd Salim alias Ghosi Sahab – was also killed in the May 7 strike.
Another prominent Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist to be killed in the Indian strikes was Khalid alias Abu Akasha.
The fifth terrorist was Mohammad Hassan Khan, a next-generation Jaish leader.
