Digital Desk: Preparations are in full swing at the Veterinary College Field in Khanapara, Guwahati, for the highly anticipated "Advantage Assam 2.0" summit, taking place on February 25-26.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Advantage Assam exhibition, which highlights the wide range of investment opportunities in the state. The exhibition is part of the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025, held in Guwahati on February 25-26.

The summit aims to attract investment and boost infrastructure development in Assam, which has become increasingly attractive to investors due to its peaceful and stable environment. The event features seminars, roadshows, and cultural performances, including a Mega Jhumoir Dance performance.

PM Modi inaugurated the exhibition and stated, “Went to the exhibitions of Advantage Assam, showcasing the wide range of investment opportunities in the state.”

The summit has already garnered significant international attention, with Japan, Singapore, Bhutan, Australia, Thailand, and Malaysia confirming their participation as partner countries.

Additionally, the Philippines, Finland, Iceland, Austria, and the Republic of Korea will also take part in the two-day conclave. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, along with High Commissioners and Ambassadors of various countries, arrived in Assam to attend Advantage Assam 2.0

Traffic Advisory:

In preparation for the 'Advantage Assam 2.0' events, the Guwahati Traffic Police has announced a set of vehicular movement regulations to ensure public convenience, safety, and seamless movement of emergency services.

The events, scheduled to take place on February 25 and 26, 2025, will attract many visitors, and the traffic police have put in place measures to manage the expected congestion.

Restrictions on NH-27, NH-17, and major routes such as Zoo Road, Panjabari Road, and VIP Road from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on February 25 and 26.

The Guwahati Traffic Police has urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the authorities to ensure the smooth execution of these landmark events.
