PM Modi chairs second cabinet committee on security meet

Digital Desk: In a major development being reported involving National Security in the wake of the Dastardly Pahalgam Terror Attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an important meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security or CCS today at 11 am.

The Cabinet Committee on Security, or CCS, had a critical meeting to assess security readiness following the devastating Pahalgam Attack.

Significantly, this is the second CCS meeting since the gruesome Pahalgam Terror Attack, which took place at Baisaran Meadows, otherwise dubbed among the Tourist Footfall as ‘Mini Switzerland’ in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister is also slated to chair a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs or CCPA, which is being convened after a considerable gap.

Senior Union Ministers, including Nitin Gadkari, Jiten Ram Manjhi, Ram Mohan Naidu, and JP Nadda, figure among its key members.

This is worth mentioning here that the first CCS meeting was held a day after the deadly terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam that killed 26 innocent civilians, mostly tourists.
