PM Modi is set to inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit in Guwahati on February 25

 

Digital Desk: Preparations are in full swing at the Veterinary College Field in Khanapara, Guwahati, ahead of the highly anticipated "Advantage Assam 2.0" summit, scheduled to take place on February 25-26.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the "Advantage Assam 2.0" summit in Guwahati, Assam, on February 25, marking a significant moment for the state's investment and infrastructure development.

Guwahati is set to welcome the Prime Minister, along with a global business diaspora, as the city hosts the mega event.

The summit has already garnered significant international attention, with Japan, Singapore, Bhutan, Australia, Thailand, and Malaysia confirming their participation as partner countries.

Additionally, the Philippines, Finland, Iceland, Austria, and the Republic of Korea will also take part in the two-day conclave.

A host of prominent Union ministers will attend the summit, including External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Union Railways, I&B, and MeitY Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Development of Northeast Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, and Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

Jaishankar will lead a delegation of at least 35 heads of foreign missions to India, including representatives from Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Australia, the European Union, Sweden, Thailand, and Singapore.
