Pahalgam terror attack: Case inquiry taken over by the National Investigation Agency
Digital Desk: Following commands from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has commenced the legal process of taking over the Pahalgam terror incident investigation, in which 26 innocent tourists were ruthlessly shot dead on Tuesday.
NIA crews, who have been camping at the terror attack scene since Wednesday, have increased their search for evidence.
The teams, led by senior anti-terrorist officials, are questioning eyewitnesses who witnessed the horrific attack unfold in the quiet and gorgeous Baisaran valley.
Furthermore, eyewitnesses are being questioned in more detail as they attempt to string together the chain of incidents that led to one of Kashmir's biggest terror attacks.
In order to get evidence about the terrorists' approach to the execution, the investigating NIA teams are meticulously examining the entry and departure locations.
NIA aims to uncover the terror conspiracy that resulted in the horrific incident that has rocked the country, the teams are searching the entire region in great detail with the help of forensic and other experts.
