Rahul Gandhi pays Gamosa and Floral tribute to iconic singer Zubeen Garg at Sonapur
Digital Desk: A latecoming tribute, Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress and the opposition party, paid respects at Zubeen Garg's cremation site in Sonapur by offering a flower and a gamosa tribute. Rahul, at around 2:00 PM, traveled to Zubeen Garg's memorial in Komarkuchi, Sonapur, after landing at Borjhar Airport.
Rahul Gandhi, also near the location, planted a Nahor, one of Zubeen Garg's favorite trees.

Assam Pradesh Congress President and Member of Parliament Gaurav Gogoi, opposition leader Debabrata Saikia, Congress Assam in-charge Jitendra Singh, and numerous citizens attended the memorial service in Sonapur.
Rahul Gandhi visited Assam solely to honor Zubeen Garg, according to sources, and he did not take part in any political activities while there.
Rahul also visited Zubeen Garg's wife, Garima Garg, and other family members at the singer's home in Kahilipara after the memorial service.
