SEBA Assam HSLC Results 2025: Amishi Saikia tops list; Sivasagar emerges as top-performing district

 

Digital Desk: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) results for Class 10 were released by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) at 10:30 AM today.

Remarkable performance by students was seen this time, with a 63.98% pass percentage, out of which Boys: 67.59% and Girls: 61.09% were recorded.

Sharing the good news Assam Higher Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, announced the toppers of HSLC 2025- Amishi Saikia, Saptarswa Bordoloi, and Anirban Borgohain—as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rank toppers.

With 98.50 percent, Amishi Saikia of Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School in Jorhat has achieved the highest ranking. She received a score of 591 with 98.33%, Saptarswa Bordoloi of Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati, Kamrup (M) is ranked second, he received a score of 590 with 98.33%. Third place goes to Anirban Borgohain, who received 589 marks and 98.17 percent.

Approximately 4,29,449 people signed up to take the Class 10 HSLC exam. Approximately 4,22,737 of these students took the test.

Almost 6,712 pupils missed the Assam Class 10th exam. While 101 students were expelled, the results of 22 applicants were withheld.

Furthermore, Assam Higher Education Minister Ranoj Pegu shared news of Sivasagar once again emerging as the top-performing district in HSLC 2025 with an impressive 85.55% pass percentage followed by Dibrugarh – with 81.10%, Dhemaji – 80.64%, Jorhat – 79.61% and Kamrup (M) with 78.79% pass percentage.
