Three aides of Amritpal Singh handed over to Punjab police
Digital Desk: Three aides of Amritpal Singh have been handed over to the Punjab police by the Dibrugarh central jail authorities in Assam on Monday after the completion of their detention period.
This was confirmed by Dibrugarh additional SP Nirmal Ghosh.
The individuals, who have been handed over to the Punjab police are Basant Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Bhagwant Singh.
Meanwhile, the Punjab police team, which has been camping in Dibrugarh for the past few days, will seek their remand and take them to Punjab following the due legal process.
It has also been learned that one more detainee will be handed over to the Punjab police by the Dibrugarh central jail authorities on Tuesday, followed by three others on Wednesday.
Thereafter, the Punjab police team will fly the seven individuals to Punjab.
