Two-Member SIT Team to Leave for Singapore Today in Zubeen Garg Death Investigation
Digital Desk: A two-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) is scheduled to depart for Singapore today to carry out additional investigation in a significant step in the ongoing investigation into the unexplained death of musical legend Zubeen Garg.
Investigating officer Tarun Goel and the SIT team, headed by chief Munna Prasad Gupta, Special DGP (CID), will leave for Kolkata at 8:30 PM before travelling to Singapore.
According to sources, the team will conduct investigations on the ground there and re-examine the events leading up to Zubeen's visit, which has grown to be a crucial component of the ongoing investigation.
SIT officials claim that ten Assamese expatriates living in Singapore have provided information deemed essential to comprehending specific case-related circumstances.
The SIT's itinerary for the visit claims findings like-
Work together with the Singaporean police authorities and examine the sites associated with Zubeen's visit to Singapore.
Get more CCTV or documentary proof and analyse possible financial and electronic traces. probing into the surroundings, like people who are thought to have had communication with the deceased singer while they were overseas.
In order to shed light on questionable connections and communications, the Singapore Intelligence Team (SIT) will continue parallel interrogations in India with Wajid Ahmed and two members of the yacht crew. As public demand for justice and transparency grows, this is the first international field visit since the start of the well-publicized investigation.
