Undercover or Underarrest! Man Nabbed with Fake Media ID and Weapons

Digital Desk: In a major ops conducted by the Guwahati Police led to the arrest of an individual, recovering a cache of suspicious items from his residence.

As per the details provided by the Guwahati Police, the accused has been identified as Sahil Khan (27), a resident of Synergy Imperial in Kahilipara, Guwahati.

Additionally, a search operation carried out under Section 185 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) led to the seizure of a white Toyota Fortuner SUV with no number plate, four empty cartridges believed to be from a 9 mm pistol, and one suspected Self-Loading Rifle (SLR) cartridge. Police also recovered two live 9 mm rounds.

Sources confirm that the investigation is ongoing, and authorities are also trying to trace the origin of the firearm cartridges and verify whether the suspect has any prior criminal record or affiliations.

This case has triggered alarm in media and law enforcement circles.

Moreover, state police suspect a deeper conspiracy and are currently investigating whether Sahil Khan is a part of a larger network or not.
