Uttarakhand Helicopter Crash: 5 dead, 2 injured

 

 

Digital Desk: A deadly helicopter crash along the Bhagirathi River in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, killed five passengers. The accident, which occurred near Ganganani in Uttarkashi's border district, also injured two other people critically.

The chopper was carrying six passengers and the captain when it crashed. The wounded have been sent to a local hospital for immediate medical attention. Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, took immediate note of the tragedy and gave the administration instructions to investigate the accident thoroughly and offer all support to those hurt.

After arriving at the crash site, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and district administration officials are assisting with rescue and relief operations. The helicopter's inside is extensively destroyed, according to visuals from the site.

In order to support the impacted parties and identify the cause of the collision, CM Dhami has promised that all required steps will be taken. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and further information is anticipated.
