The late artist's wife, Garima Saikia Garg, paid a heartfelt homage, stating, "He always loved the rain." It rained the day his mortal remains arrived in Assam, and it still rains today. Everyone can now sense that he is still connected to us, and I myself experience a wide range of emotions. He is still with us, and I think all of his visions for Assamese cinema will be realized.
