Zubeen Garg’s admirers furious over Aastha Bora’s remark; Garima and Palmee ask people to calm down

Digital Desk: Amid public outrage over a remark by Aastha Bora, Jatin Bora's daughter, regarding Zubeen Garg, his wife, Garima Saikia Garg, and sister, Palmee Borthakur, have called for calm. Aastha, in a media response about Zubeen's film "Roi Roi Binale," referred to him simply as "Zubeen" rather than the respectful "Zubeen da," sparking criticism from his admirers who found it disrespectful.

Garima defended Aastha on Facebook, urging the public not to blame her and emphasising the close, familial relationships she shares with the children, including Aastha, who have known Zubeen since childhood. She stated that Zubeen encouraged them to address him informally and expressed that any potentially hurtful comments were unintentional, asking for gentle correction and understanding instead of harsh judgment.

Garima concluded her post with a reference to the tragic day of Zubeen's death, hinting at unresolved questions surrounding it. Palmee Borthakur also supported Aastha, noting the affection Zubeen had for her and pleading for preservation of the innocent bond between generations while calling for guidance rather than anger in response to the misunderstanding.
