The highly anticipated movie Roi Roi Binale has made history by securing 10 theatre screens in Bengaluru, making it the most widely distributed Assamese film ever released in the city.
This is a historic moment for Assamese cinema. For Assamese filmmakers and viewers, who have long fought for mainstream space in city theatres, the accomplishment is a huge boost.
With advance reservations opening on October 24 and three theatres being completely booked within hours, the movie broke down barriers and made its way into several upscale multiplex chains in Bengaluru.
