Zubeen Garg Death Probe: Manas Robin presented ‘Explosive Evidence’ before SIT

Digital Desk: Musician Manas Robin, who previously claimed to have explosive evidence relating to claims of financial misappropriation involving late vocalist Zubeen Garg, testified before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) today (Wednesday).

He aided his support for the investigation by submitting the evidence he previously stated in front of the media.

Following Zubeen Garg's death, Manas revealed that he had previously received charges of financial embezzlement against Zubeen Garg but opted not to believe them. However, he now believes the claims are becoming more genuine. He added that he has "black and white proof" of the alleged misappropriation.

Manas remarked that because the government has ordered a proper investigation and the CID has already launched its investigation, the investigating agencies should not only focus on solving the mystery of Zubeen's death but also properly investigate the alleged money transfer issue. "Only then will the entire truth come to light," he told me.

In a series of statements, Manas also advocated that a statue of Zubeen Garg be built at Madame Tussauds Museum to commemorate the late artist's legacy. In addition, he stated that a giant kite made of gamosas collected during Zubeen's memorial rituals will be flown at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati in his memory.

Manas further stated that all powers and authorities currently held by manager Siddharth Sharma on behalf of Zubeen Garg should be given to the singer's family.
