Air India Plane Crash Tragedy: Tata Announces Rs 1 Cr Compensation for Victims Kin

Digital Desk: The Tata Group in the wake of the tragedy that took place on June 12, stands firm with the victim's side by giving ₹1 Cr in support to all the families of those who lost their lives in the Air India Plane crash tragedy. Tata Group also extended a helping hand to pay medical costs for those injured and support.

Tata Sons issued a statement expressing their deep sorrow and grief over the accident. The statement stated-- "We hope this support can offer some financial relief to the bereaved families and aid in the recovery of those injured, but no amount of money can bring back a loved one."

Since the airline's establishment, this was Air India's first major accident.

The proceedings of the Tata Group have been warmly acknowledged, with many considering it as an example of corporate responsibility based on empathy, regardless of whether investigations into the cause of the tragedy are still ongoing.

This act of support might serve as a tiny pillar of strength for the loved ones affected as they try to cope with their loss—a reminder that they are not alone in their loss.
