Digital Desk: Today, October 2, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, who played a pivotal role in India's struggle for freedom.

Born in 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of ahimsa (non-violence) and satyagraha (non-violent resistance) has had a lasting impact on humanity and the Globe at large.

The astute national leader’s teachings continue to inspire individuals worldwide, and his legacy plays a significant role in shaping global thought on peace and resistance.

Mahatma Gandhi, during his lifetime, advocated for non-violence and peaceful resistance, influencing movements globally.
