There’s improvement in the flood situation of Assam: Assam CM


Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday stated that the flood situation in Assam has shown signs of improvement.

CM Sarma said that displaced residents have begun returning to their homes from relief camps.

However, he cautioned that the current respite is likely temporary.

Speaking to reporters, the Assam chief minister said that while the immediate danger may have receded, the state remains vulnerable to further flooding in the coming weeks, as is typical during the monsoon season.
